This 'more,' page is about the extra projects I undertake in my free time. They showcase my ability to use compositing software like After Effects and Nuke, as well as graphic design heavy programs like Illustrator and Photoshop.
I tend to sample live footage just for the sake of experimenting within these programs. But for the most part, these clips feature illustrations I have done myself. If you'd like to see more, you can check out my graphics/illustration website here
Compositing Demo Reel
Here I combined what I've learned in After Effects with my own illustrations, and footage I either took or found.

80s Screen Saver
I love the 80's vaporwave aesthetic phenomenon. It influences all aspects of my art, and comes out in full force sometimes. Here, I used After Effects to create a theoretical screen saver for a computer.

Welcome to the City of Ukatsu!
The sci-fi genre has it's teeth in me; and so I illustrated and composited this using Photoshop and After Effects. Animated in After Effects.

I used my rig from "Don't Answer that Door!" as fodder for the newest craze in dancing. I motion tracked this footage and composited it using Nuke.

My friend Max went for a run in the gym, and I saw a giant birdman standing there, so I tried videotaping him. I don't remember what happened after that, or what I did the rest of that day in general. Maybe watching the video will remind me?

The Men in Black movie franchise has had a revival as of late, and so I thought I'd revisit it as well. I illustrated new scenes that pertained to the movie as a whole to use in the credits, to tie them in. Edited using After Effects and Photoshop for the illustrations.

This is a snipet from the silliest of all movies, "The Room." I composited in Elmo and Hei Hei just to mess around. (They were also just some leftover clips from when I was shooting on a real green screen.)

I thought I'd be silly if I added a character from my short film, "Office Hours," into the background of this innocent enough clip about trains.

Simply goofing around with rotoscoping in After Effects, after screening The Shining with friends and not wanting to watch until the end because it's just too suspenseful.
